  • Sorting/shelving donated items in the FOL Book Nook

• Friendship Committee

  • Promoting new Friendships and renewals

  • Tracking Friendships

• Library Advocacy

  • Helping raise awareness about library needs

  • Attending local government meetings to support library funding

  • Assisting with letter-writing or petition campaigns

• Communications Committee

  • Creating/distributing newsletters and brochures

  • Updating/posting in Website and Facebook

• Special Events and Projects

  • Helping with building improvement or beautification projects​ (e.g. Rourk Library Learning Garden)

  • Organizing and supporting FOL author series

  • Helping with library programs like storytime, author talks, or workshops

  • Staffing tables at community events

  • Providing hospitality (snacks, welcoming attendees)

  • Photographing events
